Melanie Doane is a Juno Award-winning singer and songwriter who continues to write and tour Canada regularly. Some of her newest material has recently been featured on television programs such as Being Erica and Flashpoint. Doane has also composed and performed music for two of Soulpepper's shows: Of the Fields, Lately and Salt-Water Moon.
